What goes to the front of the queue

• Corrections. If a piece is wrong, say where — corrections run first and are noted on the piece.
• Label questions. "What does this ingredient actually do?" is the desk's favorite genre of email.
• Category requests. Assessments are chosen in part from what readers are trying to decide.

What we don't take

We don't publish sponsored posts or paid placements, we don't trade coverage for samples or links, and we don't accept guest posts. Pitches that offer any of those get a polite no.
